MGM North Strip
MGM Mirage has announced its plans to develop the north end of the Las Vegas Strip. Having acquired two major parcels of land, the company has plans to develop a mixed-use development on the scale of its MGM Project City Center. City Center is being built at the south end of The Strip. City Center is a $7.4 billion project with a 4,000 room hotel/casino, high-rise condominium towers, upscale dining, entertainment, shopping and luxury resort. Real estate analysts in Las Vegas anticipate the North Strip to be an exciting addition to the growing marketplace, with Boyd Gaming’ Echelon development due to start construction this year.
