The Las Vegas Redevelopment Agency (RDA) recently distributed its annual fiscal report.  Some very exciting achievements have been announced.   Among them are:Completion of phases one and two, as well as groundbreaking on phase three of the World Market Center, which will be a 12 million-square-foot trade show facility.  Its success has generated significant interest in the development of the World Jewelry Center.  Commercial development includes the expansion of the Las Vegas Premium Outlets Mall, completion of the IRS building and construction of the Molaksy Corporate Center. Development is currently under way on the 61-acre Union Park. Expansion and renovation of downtown casinos, including the Golden Nugget, Fitzgeralds and the El Cortez. Establishment of Fremont East, located adjacent to the Fremont Experience.  This entertainment district will include an eclectic mix of dining, entertainment venues targeting diverse economic and age groups. Creation of a new Courthouse District in the heart of downtown Las Vegas. Cultivation of incentive programs that help businesses grow and expand, including the3 Tax Increment Financing and the Visual Improvement Programs. Expansion of the Redevelopment Area in order to offer incentives to additional companies within a broader region.
